The 2MP 40x Starlight IR PTZ Camera from Dahua Technology uses a 1/2.8" STARVIS progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture 1920 x 1080 resolution video at up to 60 fps. Eight IR LEDs provide up to 984' of night vision capturing color details in low light down to 0.005 lux. The 4.5-180mm varifocal lens delivers a 67.5-1.7° horizontal field of view. PTZ functionality offers endless panning, endless tilting, and 40x optical zoom and the Predictive Focus Algorithm improves zoom accuracy and decreases focus time. Two-way audio communication is possible thanks to audio I/O ports. An onboard memory card slot supports microSD cards up to 128GB, available separately.
Additionally, the camera has a built-in Intelligent Video System, an analytic algorithm that monitors a scene for tripwire violations, intrusion detection, abandoned or missing objects, as well as support for tamper and face detection, people counting, heat mapping, and PTZ auto-tracking. Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable. This corrosion-resistant camera is equipped with a built-in heater. It is housed in an IP68- and NEMA 4X-rated metal enclosure that is suitable for outdoor use.
