The ACTi B97A is an outdoor mini PTZ security camera that features a 4.9-49mm varifocal lens with remote manual pan and tilt control. The lens can be panned or tilted from 5° to 90° per second and it can pan a total of -175° to 175° and tilted a total of 0° to 180°. It uses a powerful 3MP sensor that captures up to 20fps. With a 1/3" progressive-scan CMOS sensor, the camera captures images at a maximum resolution of 2048x1536. It features a mechanical IR cut filter for true day/night functionality, automatically switching between color and B&W images for clear details.
The camera can detect motion in up to three programmable areas, and it will also set off an alarm if a sound is detected or if an external device is plugged into the digital input. Once an alarm is triggered, the camera will send you an email with a snapshot of the situation or save a video of the incident to your local storage.
The camera uses both H.264 and MJPEG formatting for maximizing your storage and bandwidth, and a microSD slot allows for on-site recording with edge storage. Input and output terminal blocks offer 2-way audio capability. Additionally, the RJ45 Ethernet connection uses PoE technology for a simple installation, and the camera can be surface, pendant, wall, corner, pole, flush, or gang box mounted for multiple setup options. Furthermore, an IP66- and IK10-rated housing, along with a -40°F cold-climate operating temperature.
