The ACTi E44A is able to capture images in dry and wet areas. With weatherproof IP66 rating, it can be set up to capture in rain or shine. It features a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens with a f/1.4 aperture for a 92.5° to 35.9° horizontal field of view. With a 1/2.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor, the camera captures images at a maximum resolution of 1920x1080. It is packed with great image processing tools like IR cut filter, superior WDR, and dual streaming, that delivers quality images, and smooth live view of the targeted area with greater details.
Another noticeable feature of this camera is the integrated wall/ceiling mount. Following an industry trend to make wiring less vulnerable and less visible, the E44A is also PoE supportive. This sturdy camera is the first bullet to have a waterproof ethernet connection. Combined with effective noise reduction, it makes for good image quality in poor lighting. In no light situations, the IR illuminators provide adequate lighting at longer focal lengths.
